New Super Bowl Ad Confirms John Krasinski In 'A Quiet Place 2'
With the big game on Sunday, there are multiple movie studios that are going to want to highlight their upcoming films during the commercial breaks. Paramount is no exception to this, confirming they will be showing a spot for their highly anticipated film 'A Quiet Place 2.' While most studios wait until their Super Bowl spot has aired to then post online, Paramount gave us all a little treat by posting the thirty second spot on their YouTube channel this morning. There has been speculation that Krasinski would reprise his role in this sequel due to confirmed flashbacks of the start of the invasion being incorporated into the film. However, Krasinski's reprisal was never confirmed... until today. The Super Bowl ad opens up with a scene of Krasinski's character "Lee" and his first encounter with the antagonizing monsters who end up endangering the human species.
The original "A Quiet Place" was a hit back in 2018. The film scored a 95% on rotten tomatoes and made 340.9 million dollars on a 17-20 million dollar budget. Will the sequel be just as praised as its predecessor? How big of a role will Krasinski have in the film? All these questions and more will be answered when the film is released on March 20, 2020.
